The Randa Rebozo is large enough to use as a throw for your couch, as a shawl or as a scrumptious scarf. We like to leave it on a couch or bed during the day and then grab it and go for use as a shawl or scarf when leaving the house.
Rebozos are made big enough for ultimate versatility since in Guatemala these big, durable, beautiful pieces of fabric are typically used to carry children, transport goods to market, to protect the head from sun or to use for warmth.
Our rebozo features an intricate, hand-embroidered colorful cotton "randa" as the centerpiece, which joins two pieces of upcycled denim fabric form The New Denim Project (a denim upcycling initiative by Guatemalans) in a fully reversible, double-sided design.
This design was aimed at reducing waste by saving the selvage edge of the upcycled denim fabric incorporated into many of our products.
